The regular meetings bring together actors from culture and politics in the tri-border region of Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany. In addition to the exchange of experience in the cultural sector, the aim of the conference is to further develop the trinational cultural area and to promote networking and the growing together of the region. Beyond the annual events, the cultural area conference is an important motor for cross-border cooperation in order to set impulses for the future.

On September 9, 2020, cultural actors of the three-country region met in the Oblastní Galerie in Liberec. The meeting, organized by the cities of Zittau and Liberec and the Liberecký kraj, focused on the experiences from the Capital of Culture application of the city of Zittau and the possibilities of a competition participation of the city of Liberec. The aim of the exchange of experiences at the foot of the Jeschken was also the continuation and promotion of trinational projects, which form the basis for the development of the common cultural landscape. This year's meeting also focused on the creative industries, the future of cinema and film, and traditional crafts in the region, with glass, textile and ceramics production being the main topics.

At 3event, we promote networking and exchange among participants. Cultural institutions and initiatives have the opportunity to present themselves with their cultural enterprises, topics, projects and activities in order to give other actors the chance to get in touch and find ways of cooperation.
