Camille Saint-Saëns' Fantasy for violin and harp is the starting point of this Franco-Hungarian concert programme. Like his friend Béla Bartók, Zoltán Kodály drew many elements from Hungarian peasant music in his compositions, including his Duo for Violin and Violoncello. The program ends harmoniously and gently in the imaginative trio of the French composer Henriette Renié.‎
