The history and interesting facts about the Liberec carpet factory, whose history dates back to the second half of the 19th century, when it was founded by Ignáz Ginzkey and which employed 1500 people in the 1970s and 1980s, will be presented by a long-time employee of the factory, Otakar Oraný, who held the position of technical director of the factory. For example, the textile factory was awarded the first prize for the largest one-piece hand-knotted carpet with an area of 326 square metres.
